DHT Golf builds new baseball, football, lacrosse, and soccer fields. We also renovate existing fields.
The Chatham Anglers, a Cape Cod League team, chose DHT to completely renovate Veteran’s field in Chatham, Mass. This work included:
Veteran's Field, Chatham,Mass. reconstruction by DHT Golf
- Preconstruction engineering that identified grading and configuration problems.
- Removing existing sod, regrading field, and installing new sod.
- New warning track installation
- New infield clay and mound
- Drainage pipe installation
- Irrigation installation
Today, players consider Veteran’s Field one of the best playing surfaces in the Cape Cod League.
Cape Cod Academy, Osterville,Mass. selected DHT golf to build a soccer field. This work included:
- Tree clearing and stump removal
- Grading earthworks
- Loaming and seeding
- New irrigation system installation
- Drainage pipe installation
Several years later, this successful project led to DHT Golf construction of a baseball field bordering the soccer field.
Proposal Process-Field Renovation
DHT begins the proposal process with a site visit to identify current field conditions. We review:
- Conformity with MLB or other field layout
- Field grading from a surface drainage and safety perspective
- Grass field surface
- Subsurface drainage efficiency
- Proper infield mix depth and composition
- Clay infield and sod outfield transition grading
- Warning track width and composition
- Irrigation and pump system efficiency
We work with you to select options that fit within your budget.
