Golf course proposals
Our golf course construction conversations begin with a DHT Golf representative site visit. After you identify your project goals, we will explain how DHT will fulfill these goals.
Our deep experience allows us to suggest methods and means needed to insure successful project completion. After we review your project, we will continue our conversation with a detailed written proposal for your review.
Our first meeting should identify:
- Proposed work limits. Flags or paint help identify disturbed area and help us measure quantities.
- Irrigation components within the work limits, and controller locations if new wires needed.
- Preferred material suppliers and specifications.
- Design intent
- Project principals. All comments appreciated!
- On or off-site dumping of excess soil or old sod
The proposal process usually involves two or three discussions. Often, after we propose costs and methods needed to complete the work, club representative suggestions lead to changes and price modifications, and we revise accordingly.
